Acne Blue Light Therapy - Most Effective Acne Light Treatment?
Acne light treatments - a form of "chromotherapy" have become very popular in recent years as alternatives to topical medications. The problem with acne medications is that some individuals may have adverse reactions to them. A possible drawback to the treatment is the claim by some experts that long term use of light therapy can age the skin. This potential negative side effect, however, is unproven.
It is recommended that acne blue light therapy be administered by a qualified dermatologist.
