What is a good cover up or foundation?

This isn't really a question, it's more of a little, survey type of thing. A couple questions about things I'm currently researching.

1.) Do you feel less of yourself if you have a break out or a zit.

2.) If you have acne, do you wear cover up? Or do you just think its a waste of time.

3.) If you have acne, do you withdraw your self from social activity, if so. How?

4.) If you have acne, do you stick to one regimen and see results, or do you switch to other products often.

Thats it, thank-you to all who answer, best answer to the one who is most thorough answers.

Hi Isabella:

Very interesting questions and I'm compelled to answer. Here you go:

1) I wouldn't say I feel less of myself when I have a blemish, but if it is hard to cover up, it can lower your confidence or make you more self-conscious when in a crowd of people.

2) I do not have acne, but like any girl, I get occasional breakouts. When I do, I try to treat it as much as possible and I do cover it with foundation, concealer, and powder. As long as the blemishes are kept clean, I don't touch them, and my makeup brushes are clean when I apply my products...It does not affect my skin. It's also necessary for my makeup to be oil-free.

3) I would not consider myself to have acne. But, I did in high school, and I did not withdraw from social activity. I had many friends, and just tried to treat and cover my blemishes as much as possible.

4) When my skin breakouts, I do use the regular wash, tone, moisturize method. But, I might exfoliate or use medicated face ointment to help treat my blemishes. Of course during that time of the month you can experience continual breakouts and sometimes I tend to switch up my routine just so that I can try new products on the market and ensure my face isn't becoming immune/tolerant to any of the products I'm using.
