Acne Cyst Cure

Tea Tree Oil vs Benzoyl Peroxide, For deep cysts?

have used Benzoyl peroxide 5% strenght to no avail on cystic acne. Works pretty great to prevent and cure normal small pimples but the deep cystic inflammed ones its useless, doesnt penetrate. I am also not the kind who is easily dried or irritated by BP. I can apply a hugh blob overnight and my skin will be the same not even slightly red.

I just ordered 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil from Dessert Essence. WIll this be more effective against a deep cyst, does it penetrate deeper? I have heard amazing things about it. I probably wont apply it pure but as precaution dilute it down maybe to between 20%-50%.

DO YOU THINK THIS WILL BE MORE EFFECTIVE primarily against the CYSTIC Deep Pimple type acne??

Go to the dermatologist and see if they will put you on Accutane. It is the ONLY cure for acne. All other medications will manage the acne , but as soon as you go off the medicine, the acne comes back. I know there are alot of warnings about Accutane, but I put all three of my kids on it because I am 51 years old and STILL have scars on my face from teenage acne. It is so worth every penny to go the Accutane route.

Try This Acne Natural Cure With Essential Oils and Plant Extracts

If you are thinking about using natural essential oils for acne, you should find the information in this article helpful. First, you will read a bit about what the compounds actually are, followed by a brief overview of the plant extracts that may be most effective.

Essential oils are derived from plants. In past centuries, the extraction process was done primarily through the use of distillation, which removed impurities and concentrated the plant fragrance.

Today, various methods are used. Some of which involve the use of petrochemicals or ethyl alcohol. The overall safety of use of these products has yet to be compared to the more natural type created by distillation.

Residues of pesticides have been found in essential oils. For that reason, many alternative practitioners and aromatherapy specialists recommend organics. Organic growers do not use pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. So, there is less risk of exposure to those chemicals.

Practitioners recommend essential oils for many purposes. They are commonly included in skincare products, both as a fragrance ingredient and for medicinal purposes.

When it comes to acne, there are specific plant extracts and oils that are most commonly recommended. Some of these recommendations are supported by clinical research and scientific studies.

Although hormonal changes, genetic tendencies, diet, nutritional deficiencies and exposure to toxins are all associated with acne outbreaks, the underlying cause is inflammation and over-production of the P. acnes bacteria. The bacteria are present on everyone's skin, but an overgrowth of it can cause infection in the sebaceous glands. The result may be a pimple or a cyst.

Some plants have natural anti-inflammatory activity. Examples include turmeric, aloe and ginger. Extracts and specific compounds present in plants have antioxidant activity, which decreases the production of free radicals and reduces inflammation in that way.

Curcumin, derived from the spice turmeric, has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-bacterial activity. So, it may address three of the factors playing a role in acne.

Orange oil is frequently recommended for treating the condition, because it "dissolves" excessive sebum, the skin's natural oils. It is also an effective cleanser with some antioxidant activity, but it can cause redness, itching and irritation, which can aggravate inflammation. It is best to use orange oil when no blemishes are currently present, in other words, as a maintenance cleanser.

Tea tree oil is often recommended by alternative practitioners as a cleanser, an antioxidant, an anti-inflammatory and an anti-bacterial agent. It is available from online sources, along with many other natural remedies for acne.
