Acne Laser Skin Treatment Does anybody know about the use of laser (Fraxel, thermage) for skin treatments in Taiwan?
I have oily, acne prone skin and was wondering if anybody knew about the laser treatments for skin in Taiwan. Effective or disastrous? I know that they are cheaper than in the U.S. but if I have a referal for a (pricey) dermatologist here, should that trump the risk of unknown medical personnel and procedures there, albeit cheaper cost?
Fighting Your Worst Fear Through Acne Laser Scarring Treatment
For those people who have grown tired placing creams and oils on their face just to get rid of acne scar yet too difficult to disappear, they surely find the hope in using acne scar laser treatment. After all, this treatment would yield to the most obvious result after you have undergone it. But, let us look in first to what really is this laser treatment for acne scar.
The use of laser for acne treatment has gained worldwide recognition owing to the very simple fact that the result seems too very obvious at once. It makes use of laser to do away with the dark coloration of the scar caused by acne that really makes it very frustrating to people who have it. Not only that, it also made sure that the sebaceous glands will not produce too much oil, which is the root cause of acne and pimples that many of us experience.
Since most people with acne are prone to buying treatments that are available in the market and some products are just too fraudulent, many of these people undergo worst case scenarios wherein they lose hope that their acne will never go away. With that, most of them would try to prick their acne. What they do not know is that doing such will just worsen the present condition of their acne. However, we cannot really blame these people since having a lot of acne would surely generate a feeling of losing one's confidence in flaunting their skin to the mob. With that, here comes the importance of laser treatment for acne.
More so, there are more benefits that we can get from using the treatment for acne scar. Not only can we be able to do away with the scar caused but acne but also the production of too much oil because of hormonal changes that are happening to our body. Another thing would be the smoothening of our skin and the fact that laser will never damage the surrounding skin where laser treatment takes its toll. In fact, there is a sudden change of fairness.
Now, having acne is not anymore as morbid as it was in the past and that's due to the acne laser light treatment that paved the easier ways on how to eliminate the formation of acne scarring to those people who have been suffering from too many appearances of acne.

I don't think you are being hard headed at all. Some people just suffer breakouts no matter what they do, and I often wondered if perhaps all the lotions and potions don't do just as much harm as good. I think if you are doing a good cleansing, watch the makeup, and do a steam facial once a week, you may still break out, but at least you aren't doing anything nasty to your skin. I can't say I blame you for not wanting a laser pointed at your face. Speaking as a parent, I can feel for your dad wanting to do whatever it takes to help you, but maybe it's time for a heart to heart with him. If none of it is really helping, maybe it's time to just wait for it to pass on it's own. It usually does for most people, even those with really really bad acne. You might end up with a few scars, but if you can live with it, then surely he can. And at least you can get the scars erased once it's all over and done with. That is still a laser, but at least it is for a limited time and area. I say do what you can reasonably and comfortably do, and let go. Talk to dad, and see if he can't understand your reasons. If all else fails, ask him if it's you he loves or your skin? I'm sure if you put it out point blank, he'll come to see your point.
