Acne Laser Treatment How good does Acne laser treatment work? I was told it would make me not breakout anymore, how do they work.?
Okay first think how much will it cost. Then think will it be worth it if it works. I would do it. If your doctor tells you it works then I would trust him or her and do it. Acne is a pain. I my self may now ask my doctor about that kind of treatment. Thanks for posting your question. Sorry this really doesnt answer your question.

What You Need To Know Before Getting Acne Laser Treatments
All of us know how expensive it would cost to do acne laser treatments to remove acne scars on your face. The cost can be anywhere ranging from $600 to $6,000 per treatment.
An acne scar treatment done with laser involve high energy light beam to burn the damaged layer of your skin to stop the growth of bacteria and shrinks your sebaceous oil gland. This is a very effective method to improve your skin appearance and make your skin smoother. But like any other treatment out there, you will need to be patient while waiting to see the result.
It is important for any person to be aware that there are various types of laser treatment are available out there and realize that there is a certain percentage of risk involved in any procedure. There are basically 2 types of acne laser treatments available for you to choose from. One is known as Ablative (resurfacing), while another one is known as non-ablative laser.
The treatment from Ablative lasers rapidly heat the skin surface with the intense laser light burst and vaporizes your scar tissue. It will gradually heal by itself and regenerate a new layer of skin surface.
As for non-ablative lasers, it is intended to cause damage within your skin layer encouraging the production of collagen. It normally take lesser time to recover from non-ablative laser but the result that you get is probably not as good as what you can get with ablative laser treatment.
You can also ask for someone who have done it before to have a better preparation for the treatment and cost that you will have to pay for your treatment.
