im 15 years old, and ive been trying to cure my acne for some time. Actually, i havent treid "every pill and potion", but i dont indend to, because i REALLY want to get really nice skin, but with the purest way possible, throught the raw food diet. I actually know ALOT about health for my age, but im just needin' some help. i have moderate acne, everywere, back chest, forhead cheeks, i mean really. i tend to break out after any prossed food. ive been to nutritional counsuling by a raw foodest to, but, i need to know exactly what to mabye juice for my acne. Any tips, advise, what did you do to clear you acne? using raw foods? im very tired of my acne, as im sure alot of people are lol, i know green smothies help.. but how many? a juice fast! ugh! i would really apreciate ANYTHING what so ever.im trying to also skin brush and oil pulling...omigoodness THANK you sooo much!!!

A study recently in a Melbourne hospital had 2 groups- one that ate normal diet eg processed food diet incl white bread sugar lots of dairy meat etc and the other group ate whole foods, nothing processed and lots of fruit and veges. Guess which group are acne free!
Unfortunately doctors will just prescribe pills etc because that's all theyre trained to do. Save your life if you have an accident etc but they don't cure anything. OK- green smoothies are the absolute bomb for acne and any skin thing plus any other illness. Juicing is good but it leaves the fibre out and doesn't taste as nice as blending greens with whole fruits etc in green smoothies.
They're a fantastic way to start off on the healthy food road and they take away any cravings for sugar and bad stuff etc. I found I wanted to eat more raw food but do eat cooked when I want too.
Have one for breakfast and drink up to a litre a day. Yes it's possible to have a feast eg just drink these for 2 days. Covers every nutritional need except B12 if you add ground chia seed for omega 3.

Start with greens like baby spinach add water or juice (no dairy) use frozen banana-you can add ginger and lemon lime juice. I also add coconut oil which is great for your skin (I use as moisturizer) and ground chia seed (omega 3) which makes it really filling.

Change is gradual because it takes time for your digestion to get back on track-especially if you've been on antibiotics and prescription meds. You could take some Probiotics to help this-and start drinking LOTS of water! Jane
