Acne Pimples Treatment The treatment to get rid of Acne and Pimples are the same?
Please I want to get rid of Acne only in a WEEKS please .. help what would I do or apply thats effective !! NO jokes please .. I dont like proactiv .. please
unfortunately there is no one product that works for everyone. everyone responds differently to the many treatments out there. i tried proactiv and it didn't work for me, however it does work for some people.
some of it depends on how bad your acne is. unless it's very mild it will take a while to heal and there is always a chance it can return even if you can get it under control. i've been battling it for over ten years now and have used just about every OTC and prescription (and was even on Accutane for a while) product out there. it's crazy when i think about how much money i've spent on stuff over the years. I am currently using Murad's acne system after reading all the good reviews. For me, it is ok I guess, but i'll probably always be on the lookout for something that helps more than just a little bit.

It seems that everyone and their brother is promoting some 'miracle acne cure' these days. Unfortunately these treatments never quite seem to deliver the results that they promise.
They can't you see...and. here's why:
The problem lies in the word 'cure'. Some of these products may indeed cause your skin to clear up for a while but the acne always seems to come back. Sometimes (and for some people) the recurring acne is actually worse than before.
The '3-day' and '7-day' cures mostly require you to follow a drastic detox diet for the time specified. The theory is that once you are clear of the toxins and chemicals that have built up inside you your body will stop attempting to cleanse itself by secreting excess sebum oil the prime breeding ground for the P-acne bacteria. And it does work! At least for a while!
But alas it's not a true cure. Without some drastic diet and lifestyle changes once you stop the detox diet the toxins will once again start to build inside you and. before long your acne will return.
Other 'miracle cures' that are out there mostly tout topical acne solutions or cream treatments that do a very good job of removing excess sebum oil and killing P-acne bacteria that are present when you use them! Unfortunately they do nothing to treat the internal problems that are causing the acne to form in the first place.
If you truly want to become acne-free there is one thing you must learn. Acne is not a disease! It is the result of a condition that exists deep in your body. And without addressing this underlying condition becoming acne free is impossible.
Your body is out of balance! Toxins and chemicals that we absorb every day have built up to the point that your body is desperately attempting rid itself of them.
In some people the body will surround these toxins in fat cells and store them away in pockets within the body. These folks become chronically overweight but very seldom suffer from acne!
With acne sufferers the body rids itself of these toxins and chemicals by emulsifying them in sebum oil and secreting them through the skin. The oil will begin to clog skin pores and hair follicles allowing blackheads white heads and acne pimples to form. Additionally sebum oil is the perfect breeding ground for the P-acne bacteria. The excess oil allows the bacteria to multiply to excessive numbers causing skin irritation and roseca. Before you know it you have a full-blown acne breakout!
Knowing this it's apparent that the only way to become acne-free is to help your body rid itself of these toxins and chemicals (like the '3-day' and '7-day' cures) and then keep your body toxin-free by making dietary and lifestyle changes designed to stop you from absorbing more! (This is the part that they fail to mention.)
And there-in lies the problem! Currently there are over 300 chemicals that we use every day that didn't even exist 50 years ago. They are present in everything from our clothing to our food. And while they are very good at keeping our colors bright and our food safe for those of us with acne they are akin to the devil himself!
As you might imagine developing a diet and lifestyle designed to keep these toxins and chemicals out of your body would be extremely hard (if not impossible)!
What you can do however is make some small changes that may have a large impact:
Wash your face several times a day with a product that will remove the excess sebum oil and kill the P-acne bacteria that is present on your skin.
Eliminate the worst acne causing foods from your diet. These include all dairy products (milk cheese etc.) and food made from refined carbohydrates (white bread refined sugar etc.).
Sounds simple enough doesn't it? Why not give it a try? You may find that small changes can have a large impact!
