Dermotologist appt for acne... What prescriptions work best?
I have tried proactiv- it didn't work for me. I use the Murad line now, but I think my problem is hormonal so I am going back on the pill to see if it helps. I just need to know what prescriptions people have used that actually work.
On the pill meaning birthcontrol? Birthcontrol gave me more pimples.. But what has worked for me and has never came back is Multivitamin Supplements AND Vitamin E...and yes u can take two of those the same time.You can get them over the counter.. Their good for your hair,skin,nails and its just good to take period.. Just use directly.. and take them until your pills is all gone... Another one works is prenatal vitamins... My acne scars has gone away from using this too!

The Best And Worst Acne Prescription Medications
There are so many acne medications out there, and knowing which ones will work for you and which ones won't can be a difficult process. Do you simply walk into your local pharmacy or supermarket and find just any random acne prescription medications and purchase them, or do you do a bit of research beforehand, or perhaps ask some staff that work at the pharmacy which product works best? These are all common questions that acne sufferers ask.
The truth is, is that there's no definite and absolute acne medications that will work for you. That is why you need the advice of a trained health care professional, such as your dermatologist or doctor, in order to prescribe you the best available form of treatment. Your condition could be one of many - do you have cystic acne? Perhaps it's just a case of blackheads? Or do you have some form of chronic acne that can't be treated by conventional means?
Since many cases of acne are unique to the individual, one shouldn't just presume that all acne prescription medications do the same thing, because they don't.
