I've got mild Acne but my Acne got redness so I will rest my face without applying anything?
I've got mild Acne but my Acne got redness so I will rest my face without applying anything? I will just wash my face with warm water? How long this redness reduce? Because my Aunti told me that I will not apply anything on my face because its red.
I disagree with what the other poster said about washing your face 3-4 times a day. You could seriously overdry or irritate your skin by doing so, leading to more acne.
If your skin is red from the acne, but not acne treatments, then it's just the inflammation of the skin. It should go away when your pimple goes away.
If your skin is red from acne treatments or excessive scrubbing, I could definitely give your skin a break for a few days for it to calm down.
Then after it calms down, you can start using treatments again (introducing them to your skin slowly).
Whatever you do, be gentle with your skin! You can't wash away acne. I had to learn that the hard way.

Acne Redness
Acne redness is very noticeable and can at times be embarrassing. Redness is a post-inflammatory change that develops when healing takes place. The marks are usually difficult to hide and can even be seen after healing.
If lesions do not develop in the affected area, the red marks normally disappear on their own. If the color does not change after about a year or so, there are chances that it could be a scar. There are several solutions to this problem. You can fight this condition using home-made remedies. Applying toothpaste on a pimple before you go to bed can help bring down the swelling.
You can also fight acne redness by wrapping ice cubes in a soft cloth and placing it on the marks for about 10 minutes. This makes them less noticeable. Mixing fresh lemon juice with an equal amount of water is also effective. Apply the mixture on the face and leave it for about 30 minutes. Rinse using fresh water. Repeating this procedure can help reduce the redness in about 15 days.
Rubbing fresh garlic on the affected area or applying an eye drop on the affected spot using a cotton swab is also said to help. There are also other products available that can help in dealing with acne redness. Clean & Clear anti-blemish gel and Meladerm are some of the products that you can purchase. Natural antimicrobial peptides contain substances that can help not only to reduce the swelling but also kill bacteria and other microbes.
