if i take daily zinc supplements to balance hormones and help clear my acne, will it strengthen my liver, too?
Ive read a lot of good things about zinc clearing up acne so ive decided to try it, but ive also found out that another important factor that causes acne is your liver. zinc is supposed to help the hormone half, and liver strength is supposed to clear excess blood toxins that cause the other half. so can zinc help my liver strengthen? what can? can green tea antioxidant supplements help?
i can't answer any of those questions but you would be well advised to supplement your zinc with copper, which is used up in digesting zinc -otherwise, you will deplete your stores of copper, which can actually cause more (and sometimes the same) problems.
a natural, good source of both zinc and copper is cashews. i know my mood lifts dramatically the day after i eat a lot of these nuts... actually, maybe i shouldn't be telling you this; those nuts are expensive enough as it is!
