Adult Acne Toner
What has helped you the most with your adult acne?
I am almost 24 years old and for the first time in my life dealing with real acne problems. It's driving me nuts and stressing me out, it's gotten to the point where I can't stop thinking about it. This may sound horrible or shallow but I've never had this problem before so it's really getting to me. From the ages of 19 to 22 I was on birth control which I'm sure helped make my skin even more clear and within months of getting off of the birth control I started to break out. It wasn't so bad at first but within a year it's gotten so bad that I just can't take it anymore. It's embarrassing. I have medium-oily skin (oily in the t-zone) and a fair complexion.
I currently started washing twice daily with Neutrogena Oil-Free Redness Soothing facewash followed by using Neutrogena facial toner. About twice a week after washing with the facewash I exfoliate. I feel like I'm doing the right things but afraid I'll never see results. 
Help! What's worked with you?

i had big spots, it's a food chemical allergy,this might help you-------- a lot of food ingredients(NOT fresh meat,veg,fish,cheese,potato's,etc) are man made from chemicals,now if i gave you a teaspoon of chemical to drink,you probably wouldn't be surprised with the new big pimple growing the next day, how do i know? i lived this nightmare of big pimples,as one was dying,ping i could feel the next one coming,running home from school or getting up in the morning to look in the mirror(juli,stop looking in the mirror they won't go any quicker),making excuses not to go out and staying in to apply mud from mexico,slime from the bottom of the sea,face masks made from kangaroo poo,it looks a little bit better(who are you kidding)why do i only see one person in every million like me,because they aren't allergic to anything,oh no i got another one,this will be my last one,it's the end of my teenage years,this will be my last one i'm thirty and a half next week. i had 10 years of them,left mums house,bingo month later clear fresh complexion,if i went back to mums and ate, big spot again,mum said you're allergic to something,6 months later we found that it was a food (chemical)ingredient added as a food flavouring,sauces,gravy,flavours put on breadcrumbs,drinks,curries,lots of things. no more bending over when a fit boy passes so my hair falls over my face. t should be easy to find out what you ate that your allergic to

4 Tips to Deal With Adult Acne
Just when you think you outgrew it, acne can rear its ugly head. According to acne.org approximately 25% of adult men and 50% of adult women will face acne, usually between the ages of 25-40. And as anyone with acne knows, it can be devastating at any age. The emotional effects can linger long after the red eruptions have gone.
There are a number of steps one can take to deal with adult acne.
1. Identify acne triggers. Certain foods may make you break out. Stress may make you break out as will hormonal times, such as during a woman's monthly cycle. If you know what your triggers are you can avoid certain ones and learn how to deal with others.
2. Try a traditional skin care regime for acne and modify it for adult skin by using gentle products. An adult acne skin regime involves:
- Cleansing the skin with a gentle cleanser
- Use a gentle toner
- Follow with a topical acne medication on acne spots
- Exfoliate several times a week
3. Keep your hands clean. Disinfect and clean your cell phone regularly. Wash clothes in chemical free products.
4. Follow common sense healthy habits. Get plenty of rest. Exercise and eat a healthy, chemical free diet and drink plenty of water.
Keep in mind that the life cycle of a pimple is about 3-4 months so it will take time for your skin to clear up. There are many new prescription treatments and medications on the market that are very effective in fighting acne.
