Apple Cider Vinegar Acne Redness

I'm tired of all these facial masks, scrubs, products- WHAT WORKS!? (10 points!)?

Okay, I used to have perfect skin. and I'm one of those people who acne looks absolutely strikingly awful on- I only feel pretty with flawless skin, I feel I have enough other flaws. I have sensitive skin too, it seems very prone to rashes and such since I've started using makeup (don't say to stop, because I wont.)

Can you please tell me a facial moisturizer or a GOOD facial that is *homemade* and will not irritate my sensitive, currently splotchy and a little bumpy skin? Please? I'm desperate. I used baking soda and water and it felt like my face was burning when I took it off! Tea bags dried out my eyes-I have to deal with horrible wrinkles right under them. I tried apple cider vinegar- smells revolting. Should I just take a little break from products all together?
By the way, I was very happy when I recently purchased the Neutrogena grapefruit acne cleanser. It didn't do ANYTHING about my few pimples, redness and bumps from waxing. PLEASE help, something simple even?

even though you said don't say to stop wearing makeup, i'm gonna go ahead and say it anyway, but hear me out first...

use Boots Botanics skincare range... if you live out of the uk im sure you can order it in. use their sensitive skin soothing cleansing lotion, followed by their skin brightening toner. once you've let the toner fully soak in, use Botanics sensitive oil free moisturizer. i started using these products about a month ago, because i had quite uneven, blotchy skin but didn't like covering it all up with make up. you may have to wait a couple of weeks before you notice a real difference, which admittedly means two or three weeks without wearing facial makeup, but it'll be worth it. i don't wear foundation or powder or anything anymore, just because i don't need to. foundation just forms a barrier across your skin and stops clean air from reaching it, and just helps build up bacteria. in the long run, your skin will look much better if you don't have to rely on makeup :)

and if you have irritated skin on your face or any spots, i strongly recommened sudo cream. you can usually find it down the baby aisle in drugstores, but its absolutely brilliant as an antiseptic healing cream, and really helps to calm red and inflamed areas, although i would advise using it only at night, because it doesn't rub in brilliantly.

so sorry if thats all completely useless because im advising you not to wear makeup, but if you absolutely feel that you must, at least whilst your waiting for the Botanics stuff to take effect, try using a light, soft mineral foundation or powder, so your skin won't be as weighed under :) hope this helps

How to use Apple Cider Vinegar to Treat Rosacea

5 Ways Women Can Get Rid of Red Spots Fast

One of those spots it leaves behind is red spots and pigmentation problems. In this article were going to look at few ways you can get rid of them or reduce them.

What Are Red Spots?

Red spots are generally caused by acne. What most people don't know is that they could be caused by numerous other conditions such as rashes. For this article I'm going to assume that you already know that your red spots were caused by acne.

Red spots by themselves are not scars. It really is a pigmentation problem from the acne. In general they will fade allot over time. In many causes they will go away all together. The problem most have is the wait. It may take a year or even longer in some cases for them to fade.

Natural Remedies

Now were going to take a look at how you can reduce these red marks naturally. Keep mind that you should always test these sorts of things out on a small part of your body first. You never know how your skin will respond to anything.

#1 Apple Cider Vinegar

You have to be careful with apple cider vinegar because it can burn. But it is every powerful when is comes to evening out skin complexion problems. Rub some on very lightly with a cotton ball. The key is to do it very lightly at first. You want to get an idea how your skin will respond to it.

#2 Toothpaste

This is one of the more strange remedies. Try applying some toothpaste to any red spots you have before you got to bed. After a few weeks you should see an improvement. Toothpaste does have some chemicals in its skin so it might not be ideal for those with sensitive skin.

#3 Tea Tree Oil

This one is used in many products that are on the market. Add a few drops with water and wash your face.

#4 Honey And Apple Paste

You can make a paste out of honey and apple. First you need to mash up the apples to make a paste. From there you add a few drops of honey. Apply this paste to your face for about 15 to 20 minutes.

#5 Lemon Juice

Good old lemon juice spread over your face can help even out skin complexion.
