How to apply pomade?


I got American Crew Pomade for my hair.
Should i have my hair completely towel dried or have my hair a little wet?
I read something called pomade acne in the internet. read that pomade causes acne if in contact with forehead, temples, etc. Has that ever happen to you or anyone you know who have used pomade? sure i used wax and i get a pimple or 2 on my forehead but i heard pomade does more damage. is that true?

Does pomade offer that texture look,separation, and make your hair into pieces without weighing down hair ? I thought pomade is a heavy substance to use on hair. I want my hair to have that bed hair look without having my hair freeze up like gel or wax does and without making my hair go limp.

Rub it between your hands before applying to hair-only use a quarter size though-use it on nearly dry hair. You might want to blow dry after you put it in so it doesn't look greasy. Blow dry it from side to side if you want that picture look.
