Baby Acne Formula

How do you get enfamil soy formula to stop clogging up the nipple while my baby is feeding?

Has anyone else noticed that when you are using a slow flow nipple and enfamil formula that the nipple will get stopped up while your baby is feeding. It is getting annoying because my son gets frustrated and I have to pull the bottle out and try a bunch of maneuvers to get it flowing again. Any ideas on how to avoid the clogs other than switching to Similac (Similac gives my kid acne)?

You can premix a day's worth of formula in a pitcher and store it for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. The longer the formula is in water the more it will dissolve. Then just pour a feedings worth into a bottle when needed. If premixing you can also use hot water which helps it dissolve better, just make sure it has cooled to a warm temperature before using.

What is the Better Choice: Accutane Or Acne Cystic Natural Treatment?

Acne vulgaris has several types. And cystic acne would be the one most severe one. This type of acne is as big as regular acne but filled with pus inside. They form cysts that could work deeper into the skin. As such, they are very painful, can cause lesions, and normally lead to scarring. If these types of acne appear, the necessary treatment has to be carried out to prevent deeper scars. Several treatments are available these days. Doctors would know which one is best for you. There are natural herbal medicines and vitamin supplements that can help. These are called acne cystic natural treatments. And they can also contribute in the body's natural detoxification process.

However, antibiotics may also be used to cure acnes. Your dermatologist should be able to decide what can best prevent lesions, inflammations, and future breakups on you. Cortisone may be injected directly into the acne cysts to immediately reduce the inflammation. Another course of treatment is the use of Accutane. Accutane is a very popular treatment formula for acne vulgaris. This medicine is deemed effective by most individuals who have used it. However, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers are not allowed to take the drug. Any woman who wants to use Accutane should make sure that she uses contraceptives or any applicable birth control method within a month prior to starting the therapy. The use of contraceptives should be continued during the span of therapy and one month thereafter. To be sure, some doctors even prescribe two birth control methods be used by their patient. Before you plan on getting pregnant, it is best that you ask your doctor about it first. He can tell you when it will be safe for you and your baby. Accutane can cause birth effects to unborn infants. As for the woman using it, Accutane may trigger depression or mental concerns. As such, doctors normally require tests and blood samples prior to therapy.

Overall, Accutane can cure cystic acne 80% of the time. But like any other drug, it may have precautions and may not work for everybody. A lot of people still think that detoxification can help cystic acne patients. This is because of the fact that toxins are the actual cause of the problem and they have to be fully eliminated so that acne will not recur any longer. Detoxification can be conducted in several ways. Usually, a special menu or diet plan has to be followed to fully clean one's system of toxins and bring all vital organs back to their normal functions. Still part of the detoxification process is the use of topical natural creams and products on the affected areas to address lesions.

The choice between natural acne treatment products and Accutane primarily depends upon the doctor and his patient. Doctors normally support proven medicines to clear acne. But if you want nothing but full relief from the problem, combining these two methods shouldn't hurt. Just make sure that your doctor or dermatologist knows about it.
