BUT! the "Biodermazen" on that particular website is unreliable. From the writing (BiOdErMaZeN), its cheapness (59.95 down to $12) and its unbelievable effectiveness (Only 1% of customers returned their EMPTY bottles and got their money back) it also has a lifetime money back guarantee.

Do not waste your money on this product. It is slipping under an FDA regulation that allows herbal/dietary supplements to be exempt from the clinical trial approval process required of drugs that are sold on through your local pharmacy and sold as a real "drug", versus an "herbal/dietary supplement" At a quick glance through their supportive "evidence", I only saw one statement which referenced a study that had been peer-reviewed by members of the medical professional community. This is not a great showing of clinical strength in a medical product, attempting to demonstrate validity and efficacy
Many of these people were probably experiencing what is called "The Placebo Affect", a well-,known phenomenon where patients observe changes that are due to their belief that something will change when they aren't actually taking the active ingredient of the study -- they were taking the control or "placebo" treatment.
Now, that being said, $12 is not a lot of money -- but I would use a check to pay and not a credit card to pay if that's an option. Just in case these people are not sincere about their purposes for collecting information.
Finally, I have to doubt that the product would actually work. If it worked so well, why isn't it being picked up by some major drug maker or retailer to broaden its sales' base? And, all of those people that made such glowing comments and remarks about it are probably just "paid endorsers" -- just like when some athlete is paid to endorse some shoe, clothing line, or sports equipment, does it.
So, you wouldn't be out too much money, if $12.00 was truly only a one-time only cost to try it, but I think it's just "snake oil" and a waste of most people's time and money", Unfortunately. There are probably also conditions of how you had to return that empty bottle: in original packing, with a picture of before and after shots of your face to document that you did not receive improvement, and a lot of people just don't want to go throw the hassle of shipping something at their expense (which would cut a hunk out of the $12 refund, possibly absorbing almost all of it). So, the statements they've offered are not always a good measure to go by. These companies can be really slick, unfortunately.
I would stick with tried-and-true measures for improving skin; it just so happened that ProActiv wasn't the product for you. I'm sure there are plenty of other options out there for you which would work. I would recommend Clean&Clear Advantage Control Acne Kit or University Medical's Acne Free Severe Treatment Kit as options. You may just not have responded well to the formulations in ProActiv, but try these other options first before abandoning mainstream medicine all-together. It helps millions of others every day.
