im 13, ive had acne for about three years. when i wwas ten i just had blackheads and the occasional pimple, you know normal stuff.
ive tried manageing it since then and its only gotten worse. my face(to me anyways) looks disgusting. i hate looking in mirrors. ive tried 5 different dermatologists in three different cities and nothing has worked. im sick of them thinking they know exactly how to fix it and they charge thousands of dollars for the stupidest stuff, and of course it doesnt work. recently i started putting calamine lotion on my face at night and my face was almost clear for a week, but then it just went back. i really dont know what to do. ive tried EVERYTHING;
proactiv
clean and clear
netroguena
clearasil
clinique
cetaphil,,
nothing workss.
tipss?!

the truth is no one can tell you what products work best for you... it really depends on what you do with your body. if your getting enough water, the right nutrition, and enough exercise... products only help you to a certain limit. this video might help... don't worry its normal i have acne on my fore head too

How To Remove Acne Fast

Acne is a serious skin disease. This problem usually mounts up on the chest, back and buttocks. Stress and hormones together with many other factors contribute to the outbreak of acne. Fortunately, acne breakouts can be effectively eliminated by using a few household remedies that can clear the skin without causing irritation.

1. Honey and Pearl Powder – This is useful for active acne but will also expedite the rejuvenation process of your skin and therefore expose smoother skin quicker. Apply it for fifteen minutes once a week.

2. Use calamine lotion to dry up acne pustules and reduce redness on the skin. Shake a bottle of calamine lotion well to make sure that the ingredients are combined. Squeeze the calamine lotion onto a cotton swab or cotton ball. Dab the calamine lotion onto your acne breakouts, and let it dry onto the skin. You can either keep the lotion on your skin for at least five minutes to treat acne during the day, or leave it on overnight to dry up acne quickly. Repeat up to three times per day.

3. Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.

4. Lemon juice will lighten the dark spots left by acne and pimples. Wash your face thoroughly and apply a cotton ball soaked in pure lemon juice to the scared area. Leave it on for ten minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

5. Apply grated potatoes as poultice to treat skin blemishes, wrinkles, boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads , etc.

6. Make a paste of neem leaves with turmeric powder. Apply on affected area. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water. This is a good cure of acne.

7. Mix groundnut oil with an equal amtount of fresh lime juice and apply on face. Leave for 10-15 minutes and wash. It may be applied daily to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples (acne).

8. Applied to the skin Tea Tree Oil has been growing in popularity as an alternative to over the counter and prescription acne treatment. Tea Tree Oil has powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial qualities. Many people with acne find that their skin is very sensitive to Tea Tree Oil, so start with a mild dose and test it on a small area of skin. For topical treatment of acne, the oil is used at a dilution of 5–15%

9. The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is also a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

10. Grated cucumber applied over the face, eyes, and neck for fifteen to twenty minutes has been found effective. It is the best tonic for your complexion. Its regular use prevents pimples and blackheads.

11. Burdock has been used historically to treat a range of skin problems. It is believed to have a cleansing action although there is little scientific evidence to support this. Burdock root tincture may be taken in the amount of 2 to 4 ml per day and can also be found in herbal teas.

Many acne treatments may take a while to work (anywhere from 2-6 months). Don't stop using the treatment within this time period.
