Witch Hazel in Face Masks?
I recently tried a sample of Chanel's purity mask which tingled as I applied it to my skin. When I looked at the packaging, I saw that it contains Witch Hazel. Is this what made my face tingle? Nonetheless, it made my skin feel really deeply cleaned. Would you say it is a good product to buy and use occassionally or are there better deep cleansing masks on the market?
I use witch hazel for my face everyday, but don't experience tingling, if you have read the back and have seen that there is witch hazel in the product, it is there. It is a wonderful astringent and if you buy a bottle of it for a low price at a pharmacy like CVS, you can use it on your face just like that and let it dry. It's great for your pores and for acne. In bottled witch hazel there is often times alcohol (a small amount) which disinfects and works wonders on acne in my opinion.
I would keep the stuff you bought! It sounds like it will work nicely.
