Cleanser Aha How do I achieve smooth-looking skin after the acne is gone?
My former acne has been reduced to the rare pimple, delightfully enough. But I still have red marks from my acne. I don't have any deep scarring; my skin is entirely smooth to the touch, but the old marks look like acne at a glance. I'm currently using an extremely simple cleanser, benzoyl peroxide and AHA moisturizer in the morning and the same cleanser, a simple moisturizer and Differin at night.
With the AHA moisturizer, I have noticed that the marks have been very gradually disappearing. But what else can I do to expedite the process? Anything?
Beauty of the skin starts from inside your body! Your skin needs fresh air, exercise, a proper diet, minerals and vitamins and it needs protection from the sun.
Many people just put skin cream on their skin, thinking it is going to make it soft and smooth. Skin cream on the skin feels soft and smooth, but if you want your skin to benefit from that cream, you need to dampen your skin first then add the cream. The cream will help retain the moisture in the skin.
Start walking and building up your muscle tone. Muscle tone will keep your skin from looking so saggy.
Keep your skin clean. Do not scrub your face. The face does not need scrubbing. And, neither does your back. In fact, the more you scrub on it, the more acne you can get and more trauma to your skin.
A warm face cloth with a non-chemical soap, patted. Then a good gentle rinse. You next dry your face by patting with a soft clean towel. You can actually not use soap on your face at all, especially if you have dry skin.
Easy, effective and cheap ways to do a mask are:
Use an egg yolk and honey mask. Just mix one egg yolk with a little honey and spread it on your face and neck. When it dries, rinse it off. It makes your skin feel very soft.
Another one:
Use plain egg yolk. It is good for acne, too. Mix it up. Spread it on your face for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse it off.
Another one:
Take plain egg white, beat up the egg white, and then spread it on your face until dry about 20 minutes, rinse off with water. This leaves your face refreshed and helps clean the pores. You can make masks of many things that are right in your kitchen, such as oatmeal. Grind it up. Mix it with some skimmed milk and let it dry. Rinse well. Milk can attract bacteria so you don’t want to leave it on your face.
24 Years old Samantha Smith was shocked, when she saw some small black spots on her face. The first thing she did was to go online and check what are these spots? And was shocked when she read about blackheads, as what Sam knew about blackheads was totally different then what she read online.
What are Blackheads?
Black heads are congested pores filled with oil deposits and dead skin cells. It appears generally on oily skin. They are the first stage sign for pimples and acne.
They are caused by excess of sebaceous glands (the oil producing glands of the skin). The excess secretion of oil expands and thickens the pores of the skin. The oil collects in the pores and develops into a swelling. The pores are then blocked with oil. Since the pores are open, the tip of the blocked grease is exposed to the air and oxidizes, turning black. Hence, blackheads are formed.
Once she got these details she started looking out for products and procedure which will help her remove those blackheads. She went through a lot of websites and found a very informative website which gave her in depth information about the cause, treatment, home remedies, tools and the best product in market for blackhead removal.
Few products and some home remedies which might help you also are as follows:
Home Remedies:
1) Another useful home remedy for blackhead is to prepare a paste of cinnamon and limejuice or a paste of turmeric powder and coriander leaves. And apply it on your face
2) Warm a little honey and apply on the blackhead areas. Wash off after 10-15 minutes. This is also of the effective home remedies for blackheads
Sam also read about these products which are best in terms of effictiveness and availability. These are as follows:
ZENMED® Renewing Serumproduct to extract it safely. Renewing Serum is a wonderful product for combating dry, dull or aged skin. A micro-peel, this product is designed to illuminate and refresh leaving you with a polished complexion.
The Renewing Serum was designed to gently remove the outer layers of the skin and is exceptional at reducing fine lines and wrinkles. This product is excellent for acne and problem skin as it stimulates regeneration of healthy new cells and helps speed healing.
She is using this product since then not only had it helped her in getting rid of blackheads however it is also working as a cleanser.
This is an alcohol-free, alpha/beta hydroxy acid product created to be used like a traditional toner. Helps unblock and minimize pores, clear up post-Acne discoloration, balance patchy, combination skin, and gradually remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin..
What Can you Expect?
A predictable complexion starts with healthy cell turnover and preventing build-up. After cleansing with a mild cleanser such as the ZENMED Facial Cleansing Gel - Sensitive, this product provides the much needed step of clearing dead skin cells out of the way. Helping the cell turnover process, using this product smoothes unwanted bumpiness and flakiness. Since this product does not strip oil like traditional toners are meant to do, there is no "rebound effect" that is commonly seen with major brand named products. Try for 7 days, then stop for 7. See what a difference it makes. This is fast becoming one of our best-selling products!
