Weight Loss - Specific body areas?


I'm 36 yrs.old, 5'4 and weigh 165lbs. I had always been thin, until the birth of my last daughter 6 yrs ago. Little by little the pounds started creeping up on me and staying. It seems that my body has targeted specific areas of my body to store my fat; my face, chin, upper arms, stomach, hips and thighs. I can normally hide my tummy by sucking it in all day, but once I release I look like I'm about 4 months pregnant. Lately I've noticed that I can't hide my love handles anymore. I normally eat two meals a day, and I don't over indulge. I get very little excercise as I am busy with work, my children and their sports. I have tried weight watchers, the adkins diet, colon cleansers, diet pills, and liquid diets, the gym, but quickly get fustrated and discouraged. Help please!

well you can't 'spot-reduce' as in just lose weight from your tummy or legs etc, fat comes off from all over. try marching on the spot while watching the tv, really get energetic when doing housework, and when you get a chance, put your favourite CD on and just dance like mad, get out of breath - it's a great way to cheer up and burn calories too!

the pills, detox diets etc are all short term/useless answers. keep a bottle of water with you everywhere.

What is causing this rash around my bra strap?


There are like these red dots all around my bra strap and under it. It normally only happens when I play basketball. And if I try to put something on it like a cleanser it stings! Could this be a result of me not wearing a sports bra? Or is it something else...?
I also get really dry itchy skin on my neck and face when I play. This has never happened before, it just started this week. help!?

It could be the bra. You should wear a sport bra because regular bra straps after exercise tend scratch or irritate your skin. The face and neck could be when you sweat the things you put in your hair get in your face. The oils of the products cause your skin to itch.
