best cure for my type of acne?

I wouldn't consider my acne severe, I'd get like 1 pimple on my chin and 3 on the left side of my face and 2 on the other side of my face every now and then and when I get rid of those a new family of pimples shows up... now, I've never had a pimple bigger then my pinky nail but my problem is they just keep coming, I've tried apricot scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, clearasil cleansing pads, aha alpha hydroxy, salacydic acid, pro active and now the skin tone of my face is uneven.

I'm planning on going to a dermatologist and getting accutane but if there's any other solution you guys can think of that's safer and more effective please let me know.
