Cleansing Cream Formula Is it okay to use products from different skin care brands on your face at the same time...I mean...?
I have this skin care regimen that I would like to try and it consists of:
AM and PM cleanser
Clearasil daily face wash (if anyone has tried the sensitive formula of this- does it cleanse as effectively as the original?)
or a cleanser from Equate (I hear their cleansers are comparable to what they claim to be as good as)
AM moisturizer
Equate spf moisturizer
PM moisturizer
Pond's dry skin cream
Is it okay to use products from different brands? If you have a suggestion for an inexpensive regimen consisting of a cleanser, AM spf moisturizer and PM cream for sensitive skin with acne (the icky pus filled occasional pimple and blackheads that have not budged for years, feels like)please feel free to recommend
It is 100% fine to mix brands, do what works for your skin, just because a face wash works for your skin doesn't mean the moisturizer will.
For a pm moisturizer, try mixing things, a good cream for sensitive skin, a little acne medication (a salicylic acid cream) and maybe a moisturizer (such as the dual action on from clean and clear) that is meant for acne prone skin. Mixing products to use at once is also fine.
