Major blackheads and blemish prone skin- HELP!?
I must admit to having a great deal of blackheads around my nose and above my chin. I also stress out a lot so I get pimples here and there. Anyone know of any product that works great and is sold in Canada, or even some home remedies? I used Clean and Clear Blackhead Remover, but it is not working as well as I anticipated. Anyone also know of a good moisturizer, too? It's getting colder, so my skin's getting drier!
just try the black head eraser from clean and clear and dont eat alot of junk food because it makes more pimples and blackheads also dont sleep with ur hair wet cause that causes major black headss!!!! keep ur face clean and moisturise it because if you dont moisturize its like if it wont even work so just use one day clean the second day moisturise and keep ur face clean a good moisturizer is called velocity sold by mary kay consultants it comes with the other facial cleanser and its moisturizer called velocity sold by mary kay!!!! they work for me and hope they work for you if they dont then try proactive heard its very good! good luck! hope they go away and remember moisturise!

Blackheads: Home Remedies to Prevent Them
Blackheads are a common problem but mostly people do not know that what are the blackheads. These are also a form of acne that result when a pore is only partially blocked, allowing some of the trapped sebum (oil), bacteria, and dead skin cells to slowly drain to the surface. The black color is not caused by dirt and can not be washed away. Rather, it is a reaction of the skin's own pigment, melanin, reacting with the oxygen in the air. A blackhead tends to be a stable structure, and can often take a long time to clear. This is because the contents very slowly drain to the surface. Most people are wonder how can they get rid of blackheads. They may be surprised to know that like whiteheads, blackhead may also heal itself by releasing its contents on the surface. However, new lesions may appear to take it's place.
Like all other skin conditions you can find a number of natural remedies for blackheads . Their importance can not be denied regarding the prevention of blackheads. Well known remedies include;
HONEYHoney in every way is the gift of nature. It helps to clear skin, give it a fresh glowing look and prevent the formation of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. It is also good to prevent early wrinkles. You can use it alone, or mix it with 4-5 drops of fresh lemon juice. Alternatively add a few drops of almond oil in honey. In each case make a paste and apply on the skin for 20 minutes. For best results repeat once or twice a weak.
FRESH LEMON JUICELemon juice due to its acidic contents is also good to cleanse skin thus to prevent any blockage of pores and consequent blackheads (as well as pimple) formation. It can be used I any of the following forms ;
1. Alone for 5-10 minutes with the help of a cotton ball. Then rinse with cold water.
2. Mixed with honey as mentioned above.
3. With freshly boiled milk. Add 10 drops of lemon juice to 4 tsp of boiled milk. This will become curd like. Now apply with cotton ball over whole face. Slightly rub and wash after 3-4 minutes.
4. Lime juice can be mixed with equal amount of Almond oil or groundnut oil and applied over acne prone skin, prevent acne and blackheads formation .
EGG WHITE
Clean your skin thoroughly and apply egg white with a cotton swab. Let it dry for half an hour. The egg white acts as an astringent.
