Clear Purifying scrub What is a good acne care routine?
well I have some acne mostly on my t zone and now some on my cheek and they are really small... like you can't see them if you are really far from me. I have heard of some really good cleansers and moisturizers for acne. So i was thinking of this as a acne care kind of routine
first i use the st.ives purifying clear pore cleanser then use st ives hypo allergenic oil free moisturizer and like 1 or 2 times a week use the st.ives invigorating (or medicated) apricot scrub.
does anyone know if this routine will clear my acne... or if you have any suggestions please tell me please!! thanks a bunch

Please, please, please so not use proactiv.
It works yes, but it sometimes drys out skin.
and also, when you stop using it, the acne comes back.
What i recommend and what have been doing forever is this:
1. I wash my face with a medicated soap, any drug store brand is good. I like spectro, neutrogena, and tersaseptic. They have all worked well for me. Use an exfoliation scrub, it works well. If you have sensitive skin, only exfoliate a few times a week.
2. I take 2 wash clothes. First, i take one cloth and drench it in hot water (hot water form the tap is fine), squish it out, and lay it on my face for about a minute. Second, i take the other cloth, drench it in cold water and lay it on my face for a minute.
3. Repeat step 2 about 5 times (with the same cloth, incase you didnt guess lmao) and when you are done, rinse you face with warm water, and wash it once with with only a small amount of soap.
4. Dab your face dry with a sterile towel.
5. Apply an acne cream to your affected areas, as it will help make them go down.
Your acne will be gone in NO time, tust me.
Another thing that helped me was the asprin mask. What you do is:
1. Take a few UNCOATED asprin and put them on a small tray.
2. Take redness reducing eyedrops and put 2 drops per tablet.
3. Use honey or aloe vera gel and add a little bit to the mixture.
3. Mix it all together to make a paste.
4. Apply to your face for about 15 minutes.
5. Wash off with luke warm water, using circular motions to exfoliate.
6. Dab your face dry and apply a litght day lotion.
I would not really reccomend toothpaste, because it really burns your skin and is harsh. It did not really work for me. You can try, but most people i asked said it didnt work.
Also, drinking 8 cups of water a day helps keep yur skin glowing! (8 oz cups.)
