Clinique Body Acne Spray

back and chest acne????

ok so i have acne on my chest and back and its kinda bad. enough to be embarassed to wear lower shirts.... especially since summers coming soon with bathing suits and plus im a swimmer so its embarassing to go to practice and stuff.

lol. well ive gotten my face acne under control but i cant find anything to help my chest and back. for my face right now im using the clinique 3-step. i tried using that on my chest and back but it hasnt helped. i also tried using the clinique acne solutions body spray and that didnt help either.

so anyone know any products that could help? ive heard mixed answers about using head and shoulders shampoo to help with this kind of acne.... so anything on that?

thanks!

Back and chest acne is a lot more stubborn than facial acne, since often you produce more oil there and it's not as easy to treat as your face is (large area to cover and hard to reach). I tried using topical agents on my back acne, and it was way too expensive for little results.

Usually in these cases, you go to a doctor and they will prescribe you an antibiotic to kill the bacteria causing the acne. This usually works much better than topic agents, but there are a couple pretty bad side-effects that go with it. First of all, you become VERY sensitive to sunlight, especially if you are white. I would come home with sunburns from school just from walking between classes for ten minutes: really. The other thing is you can't take any vitamins or mineral supplements while you are taking the medicine, because they will stop it from working.

Also, if you find that your acne is especially bad around your period or right before, a doctor can actually prescribe you birth control to reduce the acne. Something about the hormones stops your body from producing a lot of oil and reduces acne. My girlfriend did this after the other treatments didn't work for her, and it actually did the trick!

Back Acne Remedy - Three Acne Treatments You Can Use to Kill Off Painful Cysts and Zits on Your Back

Are you sick of leaning back in your chair and accidentally bumping a cyst on your back? How about bumping ten cysts on your back all at the same time? I've been there, done that, and it's no fun. That's why I spent hours of my time looking for a back acne remedy to fix the big, swelling, nasty zits and cysts on my back.

It's not easy to find a back acne remedy. Unlike facial acne, it's harder to fix back acne because so many products will stain your sheets, pajamas, and clothing if you put it on your back. Thus, you sometimes have to opt for different ways of treating your back acne, which means you might need to look into different products and treatments than you'd ordinarily use on your face.

There are a couple of back acne remedy options you can choose from that I have used myself and found quite effective in clearing up cysts and painful acne on my back.

1. Chemical peel: Most chemical peels are not very expensive. Most dermatologists suggest 4 treatments, but depending on the severity of your acne, you might only need one or two. Mine both cost me $60 apiece, and it has lasted for over a year now. I've had some breakouts since, but nothing near as painful or ugly as I used to suffer from.

2. Salicylic acid: Clinique sells a product called Clinique Acne Solutions Body Treatment Spray containing 2% salicylic acid. This was a lifesaver for my chest and back when I was having issues with uncontrollable acne breakouts. It's also great for those little tiny zits that break out in droves and never go away.

3. Acne diet: Sometimes when you can't get external products to work on your acne, you need to start working from the inside out. Going on a short acne diet is often the way to produce great results. Sometimes it's just a matter of adding the right foods and supplements to your diet, and sometimes it's a matter of knowing which foods to cut out. It doesn't have to be permanent; it just needs to work long enough to start getting rid of problem acne.
