Help! my dog is shaking his head a lot!?
So my dog is a small 9 years old Maltese and he kept shaking his head a lot and lean his head to the right side. He took a shower about 4 days ago and my best guess was that there was some water in his eardrum. After reading and researching, I decided to buy the dry ear creme, powder, and cleanser. However, he kept shaking his head afterwards (it's been about 30 minutes) and now he is stcking his toungue out AND shaking his head a lot. I am worried, what should i do!??!?!
My dog did the EXACT same thing 3 weeks ago. I took him to the vet and he ended up having some kind of serious infection. After a few days on some meds,he was back to his normal self.
Try squeezing the dogs ear and feel for any fluid.What I mean by that is,if you squeeze and his ear indents,then he has an infection. This is common for infections in dogs. If so, Take him to the vet. Good luck to you
