no, if your acne is bad go to the doctor, if you cant afford it buy cetaphil its 8 dollars at the store? only wash your face with it. If your a girl remove all your makeup before you sleep. If you workout wash your face as soon as you finish. Sometimes its so bad that only a dose of antibiotics will help. Acne is caused by bacteria not dirt/oil. Oil and dirt get trapped in your pores along with bacteria which causes a breakout. I heard pro active does wonders.
