Cystic Acne Itchy
What are these large itchy spots on my face?!!?
Yesterday I discovered a few small spots on my face that were mildly itchy, and I thought nothing of it. But this morning, they're still here and one is a lot bigger. They kind of seem like big cystic acne things, but I get acne and I'm pretty positive that these aren't acne. Any ideas?
The spots are raised and red and itchy. And (gross, I know) one of them I recently discovered had a bit of pus. And the problem is, I'm in France and don't really have the opportunity to go to a doctor or dermatologist...

Oxytetracyline Side Effects?
I've been taking the oxytetracyline tablets for a week now, two times a day (two in the morning, two in the evening) and they seem to have cleared all the cystic acne up that I had...
However, they've given me REALLY itchy skin, and now my face is all dry and it's got this really fine rash all the way around my mouth and chin. Plus a little on my eyelids.
At first I thought it was just dry skin, because the tablets were working and stopping my oily skin, but even after I exfoliated, it's still the same, hence why I believe it's a rash.
You can't really see the rash type thing because it's so fine and it's not red, but it feels bad. Is this just a sign that it's working? And is there any way to get rid of the rash?
Plus, I know this sounds really silly, but can you dye your hair when you're on oxytetracyline?
Thanks,
Clare.
Check with your pharmacist about the hair dye. Use aqueous cream to moisturise for the time being.
Try not to use the tablets for too long, they can cause permanent darkening of your teeth too...
