Cystic Acne Painful

Acne Medication?

I have very painful cystic acne so my doctor put me on Doxycycline. It has helped prevent me from having painful breakouts, but I still have some stubborn ones above my chest and on my back. It has been almost a year since I started taking the medicine. Should I switch to a more powerful medication? Could these be MRSA boils?

Persistent cystic acne is terrible for your morale and can lead to life long scarring. A change in the products you use to clean your face won't be sufficient to address the problem. Its time to try Accutane-the sooner the better.

I have cystic acne, it is very painful what can I do?

The cysts I have are only around my pubic region and on my inner theighs. The ones on my inner theighs are very painful. I have tried something called clindamycin phosphate which is a skin antibiotic that I just rub on. It doesnt work. I havent really tried any other remedies. I walk to and from work, and am on my feet the whole time at work. It seems to be irritating it more. I don't have medical insurance, so I can't visit the doctor. I am willing to pay any money for anything that will work. Can anyone help me???

use baking soda: put some baking soda on the palm of your hand and then wet it with water and rub on the affected parts
