Cystic Acne Zinc

why are my spots becoming pigmented and how can i treat them?

im 15 and have been suffering from moderate acne for the last couple of years. however a few months back i had a massive outbreak and my condition became severe cystic acne. i have worked hard to get this under control and to prevent scars from being left behind.

The acne itself has now gone (only mild acne now anyway) and there are no holes im my skin from it, but i have been left with a very dark pi pigmentation in my skin where the spots once were. also every other spot ive had since then has healed back darker as well.

I haven't a clue whats wrong with me and why they are now healing back darker, PLEASE HELP

===NOTE===

these are the things i have already tried to get rid of this problem already

drinking lots more water
having lots more fruit
taking zinc
doing vigorous exercise
having more fibre
having vitamins and antioxidants
lemon juice
avoiding sun (which i was doing anyway before the pigment scars)

Occasionally I get the pigmentation problem. Im mixed raced and sometimes i get small dark spots. I went to my pharmacist and he showed me this lightening cream. Err it's called Fade Out. You have to use it for a period of time but it definitely worked for me. :)

Struggling with Adult Cystic Acne? Here's How to Get Rid of It

Do you struggle with adult cystic acne?  Do you sit up at night for hours on end wondering how you're going to get it to go away?  Does it bring down your self esteem?  Is it painful?  If your cystic acne was like mine, chances are, your answer is "yes" to all of these questions.

The problem with adult cystic acne is not that it's unique to you - much of the world's population suffers from it.  The problem is that it's so difficult to cure.  Most doctors recommend Accutane for patients with cystic acne, but this is a very powerful drug that can have adverse side effects on your body, and the body of future children, if you are a woman.

Some dermatologists recommend photodynamic therapy, a treatment that uses a special photosensitive liquid and blue spectrum light to treat adult cystic acne.  Even though there are few side effects, like any other procedure, it comes with a high cost.

So how do you treat adult cystic acne?  For me, it wasn't so much a matter of dermatology as it was a matter of my daily routine.  True, I went in for a chemical peel on my back and chest when it got too much to take, but I was able to take care of the cysts with a product called Effaclar.  When this became less effective, I switched to Proactiv, and I haven't looked back.

However, I've also been taking vitamin supplements and natural cures to heal my cysts for the past year.  Things like aloe vera, ice, vitamin c, zinc, and more have helped reduce my acne and keep it down more than a dermatology treatment.

I recommend you do the same. Holistic treatments are oftentimes better at handling adult cystic acne than anything else, partially because they don't contain harmful ingredients that can hurt the rest of your body.
