Does cocoa butter help with deep acne scars?
I hear it's good for fading scars over time, but I was wondering if it could slightly smooth out ice-pick marks left over from acne. I'm not looking for a miracle solution, and I certainly don't want microdermabrasion or anything like that, but I would really like healthier-looking skin.
Also, I still have some oily-ness problems and the odd pimple, so could the cocoa butter lotion's moisturizers/oils possibly bring up acne? (I have a bottle of Palmer's, in case you're wondering.)
If you have any other topical products to suggest instead of cocoa butter, keep in mind that they must be very affordable, and it has to be something I have access to at a store like Walgreens, Walmart, or a general drugstore.
Hi, cocoa butter can help with scars but vitamin E oil, you have to get the pure oil, no additives, and use it every day on the scar for a good month to see results. I had cancer surgery and my doctor told me to put it right on the nasty scar, and it faded the awful ugly redness and indentation down to a thin white line, alot less noticeable. There are actually other scar kits out there in stores, I saw one Meladerma, but it was pricey $34.00, the vitamin e oil you can get at Walmart or Walgreens, even Wegmans if you have one near you, it was $4.00 at Wegmans, probably less at the other stores. Supermarkets usually sell it too.

5 Methods To Treat Deep Acne Scars
Before knowing various types of treatment methods to cure acne scars, you should first have a fairly good idea about the origin, causes and types of acne scars.

AUTOLOGOUS FAT TRANSFER: Scars caused due to nodulocystic acne are treated by this method. Here fat from the other parts of the body are cut out and injected into those areas where deep wholes are left due to acne.
