Good Homemade Face masks?
I just got done with Acutane so my skin has cleared pretty nicely, but I still get an occasional pimple that seems to be caused more by irritation to my skin than bacteria. My skin can get dry pretty easily but for the most part is normal, but I use benzoyl peroxide on spots that break out more often. I have some minor scars from when I had bad acne and my skin just feels pretty gross and congested. I'd like to know a good homemade face mask that will help exfoliate and shrink pores.. maybe reduce the acne scars, but help my skin stay clear and feel healthy? Also, I've been thinking about using dermabrasion and would like to know if it would just be better to go with that to help my skin?

about zits- toothpaste drys them out really nicely so if u use that to dry it out, they'll go away faster

Treatment for Acne Scars
Acne is a source of stress and embarrassment for many people. Scars may develop after severe cases or when the acne has been forcibly picked or scratched. This technique is very focused on the specific area and the treatment can take anywhere from a few minutes to a whole hour depending on the size of the area covered with acne scars.
Chemical peels are quite popular right now. This procedure is relatively inexpensive but is designed only for the lightest of cases. This resurfacing approach uses acids to remove the damaged skin.
Surgical methods of scar tissue removal may be effective for some people who are willing to run the high risks of side effects. Infections and color changes in the skin are some of the most frequent outcomes. For those who are unwilling to run the risk and have only mild acne scars, there is a new option for treating acne scars and it is completely natural and safe for everyone.
Sandalwood is very effective in treating acne scars. Mix it with some rosewater and apply it to the scars. Leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.
Sage and Aloe Vera have healing properties. Apply Aloe Vera directly to the skin. Seep sage in hot water, cool and then apply.
Creams and acne blemish treatments can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars. When choosing an acne scar treatment, you need to consider the severity of your acne scars, the type of acne scars you have and the type of skin you have. Mild scars can often be successfully treated with bleaching creams that are bought over the counter.
One thing you should not do is load up your face with masks or fancy lotions - these won't help and may irritate your skin further, making the scars red and even more noticeable.
