Dermalogica Acne Kit Good Acne Products in Canada?
Hi,
I haven't bought myself any new products to treat acne in a really long time (simply because the products I bought came in large portions and I still haven't finished them yet), and I can tell that they aren't very effective anymore.
For a bit of info on my skin:
- I only really break out whenever my period approaches.
- My skin is dry and it shines easily.
- Whatever skin regimen I have is very disorganized. In the past I have bought a Proactiv kit, Dermalogica kit, and a Philosophy kit, and now in this present day I use whatever's still left from them. And the worst part about this is that I don't have clear skin!
And also, I am not concerned with the price I must pay. Please recommend brands and products that you think are successful, regardless of whether they are cheap or expensive.
Thanks.
I have had bad skin and been given acne medication for a long time.
My boyfriend then convinced me to start using clinique products, I found they had an anti-blemish range for people with bad skin. I really am impressed with the results to the point where i have been able to stop taking my medication.
Its a three step process: cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise, I would really recommend you visit their website and read up about it and they do sell their products in canada:
I think I messed up my skincare regime, help please?
Got a new Origins skincare kit for Christmas, and decided to use it... However, I think I might've messed up somewhere... This is what I did:
Dermalogica facewash, using the Facial Brush...
Followed by the Origins Microdermabrasion Cream...
Followed by my acne treatment (started burning right when I put that on)
Followed by my Origins Moisturizer.
I have typically dry skin, a little on the sensitive side. The facial brush actually hurt a little bit, but from what I know it's supposed to. I'm guessing I shouldn't have used the Microdermabrasion Cream tonight, right? It's a little hurt right now, and the acne gel kinda stung. What did I do wrong here, should I not do this again?
You're regime has a lot of exfoliants in it. I'd recommend that you only use the microdermabrasion cream once or twice a week, to let your skin recover between sessions. You might even want to go easy on the facial brush too. Just sweep, don't rub, and don't go over any spots twice. You can increase after a while, once your skin is better used to it. Especially if you have acne, and you're using a gel for it, go easy on your skin. If your skin is hurting, something's not right.
