Anyone have experience with ear margin dermatitis and their dog?
Our vet has diagnosed our dog with ear margin dermatitis. However, he couldn't tell us much about it, what causes it, how to cure it. He gave us a couple medications to start with and see how they work, but I am not a big fan or giving our dog lots of medication. Has anyone else had experience with ear margin dermatitis?
I believe specifically what our vet thinks our dog has is Ear margin seborrhea.
I just want to point out to you that a vet tends to give a dog medication when it needs it! Don't NOT give it your dog just because you don't know a lot about it... why don't you phone the vet up again and ask? Are you telling me that he gave you this medication without knowing a thing about it? Really?

Dermatitis is an inflammatory process arising in integuments. Its reason can become various physical or chemical factors of an environment.
