Diamond Microdermabrasion Facial
How is your skin after a Microdermabrasion Crystal Peel or a Diamon Peel? Which one is better?
I'm getting a facial tomorrow and I'm not sure which to pick. Crystal or Diamond. I know they are similar but I want to know others opinions if they have done it before. My face is combination-oily and has minor acne.
Also, how will my skin look about an hour after the treatment? I have to go into work. Will I be able to touch, wash, apply make up to my face right after the procedure?
NO! Every kind of peel takes off the primary layer of your skin. Your skin will look red and irritated. It will be very sensitive to the touch and you will not be able to wash it. Good luck.
P.S. The episode of "Sex and the City" where Carrie has her book party will give you an idea of how it will look. (Samantha looks horrible)

Microdermabrasion- The Most Convincing Acne Scar Treatment
Acne is probably the most common skin disorder for teenagers. In this modern age of medicine, topical ointments, vitamins and even oral medications overflow the market shelves. With the use of other vitamin enriched emulsions, the skin will feel more supple, smoother and rejuvenated. Microdermabrasion will also lighten the skin as dark pigmentation is dimished as well.
Depending on the microdermabrasion machine used by the dermatologist or licensed aesthetician, the process and combination of treatment can vary. Most acne scars are treated 3-4 sessions for optimal results. Although there are home microdermabrasion machines in the market today, a commercial duty microdermabrasion machine used in clinics will deliver more powerful dermabrasion and suction. Some of clinical microdermabrasion machines are equipped with multi-function uses like ultrasound and skin scrubber.
The Diamond Microdermabrasion machine has become the more popular of the two technologies.
