Diminishing Facial Cleansers
Removing blackheads on the nose and cheeks?
I really need to find some effective ways to remove blackheads from my nose and cheeks (I get them on my chin sometimes too... ><; ). I've used Clean & Clear Oil Free Foaming Facial Cleanser, and St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub, as well as Boire strips. These do work to help diminish the appearance of my blackheads, but it doesn't do anything for removing them (I've also stopped wearing makeup because it doesn't help my pores any, and will probably avoid wearing any until my skin is clearer).
I have combination skin, so if anybody could give me some advice on how to remove the blackheads, I'd really appreciate it!

Pressure to remain looking young.. anyonelse feel it?
I'm 35 years old but look about 25 years old, sometimes I'm even asked for proof of age when I go to supermarkets to buy alcohol which I find hilarious....
I have never done anything to look younger.. I just use facial wash, cleanser and moisturiser at night.. that's it.. but I do feel a pressure to keep look young mostly in terms of my weight. I'm 5 ft 5 inches tall and weigh 8 stone 4 libs so am reasonably slim.. I used to believe that when I reached my 30's the pressure to be thin would diminish but it's just as bad as ever... people still judge you by what weight you are...
It's weird really that women are expected to look like 20 year olds even if they have kids.. and I have one child... will it get better when I reach my 40's????
Londoner. my mum is 62 and i can say in all honesty that she looks about 50 years old. My brother is 32 and he looks 19!! Seriously!!!
I think that one who consciously feels that they are being judged or measured by others, is a sign that they themselves are unconsciously engaging in the same. The pressure is going to always get worse 'til we all simply learn, and continue to learn to let it go (myself included). It sounds as if you take good care of yourself, and that your weight, & height are quite proportional. Since all of exsistance is in constant flux, all can get better, and simultainiously; all can get worse. 40's, 50's, still after we die.
For your kid; and others too: try to; not perpetuate the silly social myth that the physical vision of a person is what they are.
Your expressivness pre-supposes that you yourself don't evenly & truly believe that to be so.
