Dior Cleansing Milk
good skincare routine for dry sensitive skin?
i was wondering what was a good skincare routine for a teen with dry, sensitive skin. i find that dior cleansing milk is really good, but i want to try a good exfoliator & mask. my skin actually isn't bad, i don't get acne or anything, but i would like to establish a good skincare routine. thank you in advance(:
btw, i have used the clinique 3-step kit, but i personally do not like the soap & toner as much as dior. during the summer i also user jergens natural glow face as my moisturizer.
first, remember to not overload your skin with lots of different products, especially as yours is sensitive. its best to keep skin care as simple as you can. make sure moisturisers are non comedogenic or non acnegenic so they do not block pores, and make sure they do not contain mineral oil/paraffinum liquidum as this will block pores and cause skin problems.
use you cleansing milk morning and evening, make sure to take any makeup off in the evening properly. then use a moisturiser, i don't think toners are really good ideas, if someone has oily skin or acne its best to just get acne treatment from a doctor. Neutrogena norwegian formula moisturisers are very good for dry skin and are non comedogenic. the day version has spf15. also, they are not very expensive.
avene gentle exfoliator or vichy purete thermal exfoliator are good for sensitive skins. use an exfoliator maybe twice a week?
a home remedy mask would be honey, apply it on clean skin for 20 minutes or so. it is moisturising and soothing.
remember to eat healthily, exercise regularly and dirnk lots of water as these are important for healthy balanced skin.
