Foundation never never stays on?
I use mac prep and prime, dior foundation and ysl concealer after cleansing, toning and moisturising. Once first applied my make up looks pretty much flawless but after about an hour its already started to come off and the foundation looks scaley and patchy. How can i stop it doing this?
Scaly, patchy foundation - sounds like it's being absorbed by your skin.. Are you getting enough moisture? Just because you're using a moisturiser doesn't mean it's actually working...
Try cutting back on the number of products you're using. You don't need a three step cleans/tone/moisturise routine.. You need to use a good anti-bacterial cleanser (Spectro was recommended by my dermatologist) and a high quality moisturizer.
Make up is like painting - no amount of paint will create a beautiful picture if the canvas hasn't been primed correctly.
What the heck is prep and prime? Unless you're actually painting in a brand new face, you don't need anything other than a dab of concealer to cover red spots and a light foundation to even out skin tone.
I think the problem is that you've got too many products competing for top billing on your face.
