I recently purchased acne wash/cleansing cloths and they're really dry. Is this right?

Okay, so I've never bought exfoliating cloth, wipe, thingies in my life. I pulled them out and they're completely dry, like a tissue, but more rough?

No, they did not come wit instructions! Just some fancy box, with an equally fancy cardboard thing around it, exclaiming its awesomeness. No instructions =C

I'm sure you're supposed to moisten them (and your face,) before you use them. Didn't they come with instructions? They aren't intended to be used "dry," that would do nothing but irritate your skin.
