It's called cystic acne and it's a real condition. It can sometimes even cause boils.

Your doctor can refer you to a dermatologist and they can start you on medications for it.

Many Causes Of Acne Scars

For some people having scars is a right of passage or a full length story that you love to tell your family. Many of the ones that we have acquired were because we dropped out of a tree, cut ourselves by accident, or some other type of strange story that people enjoy to hear. Regrettably not all scars have a good narrative behind them.

Face acne scars are the hardest scars that individuals have to handle. Because they are contained on the person’s face they make it tough for the individual to be comfortable in their own skin. Several of these individuals have self esteem troubles and do everything they can to not be looked at by other people.

Scars are created after the skin has been bruised. The scars form as part of the healing action. Injuries that are superficial will ordinarily have little to no scarring. It is merely when the dermis of the skin has become weakened that the scar will take shape on the top of the skin.Face acne scars are made by many different factors.

They can be induced by the papule, pustule, an inflamed lesion, or a cyst. Lesions that are inflamed will produce scars when the pores have become large due to the large amount of oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells. The pores will grow swollen and this will cause the follicle wall to collapse.

The acne scar will begin to take shape when the wall fractures close to the surface of the skin. The lesion can be small and will heal rapidly. The bigger lesions are developed by a much larger collapse in the wall. Around this time the bacteria carried inside will fall onto the dermis and at once demolish any dependable skin tissue.

In order to repair the dermis the skin will produce new collagen fibers. Collagen is fibrous protein that aids to make the skin strong and supple. The new skin that appears is not as smooth as the original and will commonly be misshapen.

Sometimes the scars are formed by an extreme number of collagen production. This huge number of fibrous protein will create a huge amount of new skin that is grown above the top of the skin. These face acne scars are called keloid and hypertrophic scars.

Face acne scars may also be caused by the loss of skin tissue - which is normally stimulated by the inflammation of the skin. When there are profound breakouts the skin will have a harder time healing and will take much longer. The longer it takes for the skin to heal the more likely scarring will appear.
