Face Mask Acne Scars
Aloe Vera works well with acne and acne scars?
I understand the plant works well, but I don't have the time or money to plant and wait for it to grow.
But, I do have the Aloe Vera that comes in a bottle that you put on after you get sunburned...?
Is that what also works?
And can you put it on as a lotion and a face mask?
If so, are the results good?
Thanks!
Aloe is the best plant for cure-ing anything like that, the lotions are not so good because they have alot of added chemicals that are not as affective- you can buy and grow aloe for a very good price- all you do is cut out the jelly bit and rub over the needed places, it is also good to put in juices in the juicer-----Have a healthy live, live healthy, be healthy! x

Treatment for Acne Scars
Acne is a source of stress and embarrassment for many people. Scars may develop after severe cases or when the acne has been forcibly picked or scratched. Many people are anxious about having a permanent mark left behind. Don't worry. Techniques for treating acne scars have been developed. This article will briefly outline some of them.
Actually, the only sure method of acne scar treatment is prevention early on. In general, you should never pick or squeeze acne, especially inflammatory acne or "pustules". Squeezing forces infected material deeper into the skin, causing additional inflammation and possible scarring.
But even if you have a scar left behind, there are many acne scar treatment options.
Dermabrasion is a treatment that has been around for a long time. This approach to treat acne scars uses a rotating wire brush or spinning diamond instrument to wear down the surface of the skin. Originally, sandpaper was used to scrape away damaged skin, allowing new skin to grow in its place. Now, dermabrasion is most effective on shallow acne scars. The procedure takes less than an hour and each treatment costs around fifteen-hundred dollars.
If you have serious scaring, you can try laser resurfacing which is a newer resurfacing technique, with the same effects as dermabrasion. Laser resurfacing uses lasers to remove the damaged skin and tightens the middle layer, leaving skin smoother. Penetration depth into the skin is more easily controlled with a laser than with dermabrasion and other methods. This technique is very focused on the specific area and the treatment can take anywhere from a few minutes to a whole hour depending on the size of the area covered with acne scars.
Chemical peels are quite popular right now. This procedure is relatively inexpensive but is designed only for the lightest of cases. This resurfacing approach uses acids to remove the damaged skin.
Surgical methods of scar tissue removal may be effective for some people who are willing to run the high risks of side effects. Infections and color changes in the skin are some of the most frequent outcomes. For those who are unwilling to run the risk and have only mild acne scars, there is a new option for treating acne scars and it is completely natural and safe for everyone.
Sandalwood is very effective in treating acne scars. Mix it with some rosewater and apply it to the scars. Leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.
Sage and Aloe Vera have healing properties. Apply Aloe Vera directly to the skin. Seep sage in hot water, cool and then apply.
Creams and acne blemish treatments can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars. When choosing an acne scar treatment, you need to consider the severity of your acne scars, the type of acne scars you have and the type of skin you have. Mild scars can often be successfully treated with bleaching creams that are bought over the counter.
One thing you should not do is load up your face with masks or fancy lotions - these won't help and may irritate your skin further, making the scars red and even more noticeable.
