what is the difference between a cleanser to clean the face n a face scrub to exfoliate?
i mean;are they the same?do they contain same ingredients or chemical products,do they both remove dirt,acne,pimples and make the face clear?
A cleanser is just that: it cleans the skin, hence the name cleanser. But a facial scrub exfoliates your skin, sloughing off dead skin cells and helping with clogged pores. A facial scrub is not adequate enough for skipping cleanser, and should not be used more than about 3 times a week. Me personally, when I get in the shower, I cleanse once to remove my makeup and if I have to exfoliate I do, then another go with the cleanser to clean my face. A scrub doesn't usually contain acne fighting ingredients. St. Ives has an Apricot Scrub that just came out that has 2% salicylic acid for blackheads and such, but you still need to wash your face with cleanser.
