Can you help me design a facial routine?

So here are the facts.....

-I'm 14
-I have acne. I usually break out more during my menstrual cycle (Pimples, blackheads and sometimes whiteheads)
-My T-zone area is the most oily
-I hardly wear make-up and If I do wear makeup it's only black eyeliner

So what's a good....Cleanser, Exfoliant, Moisturizer, Toner, Sunblock etc. you know, the basic essentials for skincare???

Also, can you include dos and don'ts for skin...like not picking your skin etc

Thanks alot for any answers

Firstly... here a few bacic do's and don'ts

- Don't cleanse everynight unless you have been wearing makeup (like foundation etc). A cleanser is used to get rid of makeup.

- Don't use your cleanser to get rid of eye makeup or lip makeup. Remember a cleanser is different to an actual eye makeup remover. Use a gentle eye makeup remover to remove your eyeliner.

... I went to the doctor when I was about 15 years old because I wanted to get something for my pimples. Before I went to the doctor I had tried many things like clearsil and other pimple creams/washes which did nothing... i also tried proactive (which made me break out even more!). So I had enough of all these pimple treatments "claiming" to give great results. Anyway my doctor prescribed me a topical treatment for my pimples and I find it really worked. I still get them *especially during my menstrual cycle too* but they aren't as bad. If you want the name of the treatment then feel free to mail me and I'll fetch it for you. My doctor also told me I dont need a moisturiser and that if i did then I should use an oil-free one. (clean and clear had a nice oil free one)...

Exfoliate once a week. I really love loreal products (especially their moisturiser) so see if they have a good one. If not then nivea and clean and clear also have good ones available.

I used to use toner but it actually drys the skin more. The reason men wrinkle less then women is because they have more oil in the skin... whilst a toner strips the oil from the skin. So I just moisturise without toning before.

If you don't want to moisturize your face, then I deffinetly reccomend an eye moisterizing cream atleast. That way it will keep the eye skin moist and stop any premature signs of aging.

Good girl for worrying about sunblock! I really need to wear this but I never to (naughty!). Ok just remember sunblock and sunscreen are two different things. sunscreen just screens you from the sun.... whilst sunblock actually blocks you from sun damage and is much stronger then sunscreen (ok so they sound completely the same, but trust me sunblock is stronger and better... i just suck at explaining!). I purchased a sunblock that I got from a dermatologist. Its sunblock/moisturiser so its two in one :D it was pricy -_- but its just for the face. Regular sunblock for your body any brand is fine and will do the job but I'm not sure about a brand of sunblock for the face.... nivea would have something good? you will find in a lot of moisterisers they have SPF 15+ already in them :) (make sure you only use these ones for during the day) dont use sunblock base moisterizers at night. Also try aim for SPF 30+... it gives you longer lasting protection.

I deffinetly recommend a vist to the dermatologist though. She can analyze your skintype and see what products work for you. But their products are always expensive -_- but worth the money!

Good luck xx

DAY TIME:
- Apply sunblock to face + body
- use your pimple treatment if you use one
(i wouldnt moisterize for the day otherwise you will have too much oil)

NIGHT TIME:
- cleanse only if you word foundation
- remove your eyemakeup with eye makeup remover
- use your pimple treatment
- moisterize face and neck *use upward hand move moments.. not down!!*
- use ur eye moisterizer *use inward movements... not outwood*

*that way you reduce the pulling of your skin*

EDIT: By the way, try and buy these gloves... they are for expholiating. They would have them at a chemist where the sponges are. I don't know what are called? Expholiating gloves? I dont know... anyway use them with a cheap body expholiator (some bodywashes even have the little beeds in them). Use them to expholiate your body (NOT UR FACE OR NECK) and gently over the chest area. They are perfect for legs + arms! They make your skin feel soo silky and smooth since they remove all the dead skin etc.

LUSH ANGELS ON BARE SKIN FACIAL CLEANSER PRODUCT REVIEW

Skin Care Tips: Skin Cleansers Basics

Skin cleansers are maybe one of the most basic beauty essentials in your arsenal when it comes to your skincare routine which are available in most general health departments.

Whether you are a guy or girl, young or old, a cleanser can do wonders for your skin or at conservative projections resolve a host of issues down the line.

You should be a cautious consumer when it comes to picking your cleanser- for instance you might not want to use animal based products or the things that might contain chemicals or any product that you look at comes from an unknown source and not from a fly-by-night snakes oil salesman

Cleansers come in numerous sizes, prices, and combinations and make be made up of various different ingredients. Skin cleansers could also make your skin feel a lot more smoother and looking healthier and more youthful towards others.

Some popular elements of skin cleansers include aloe vera and chamomile which is suitable for sensitive skin types. you might need a more robust cleansing formula if you face a lot of grease and grime on your skin on a regular basis perhaps due to the nature of your work.

Some brands may only remove light soils or mild environmental particles such as dust and sweat.

Germs that you're looking to disinfect; you should analyze the label to see that it does indeed remove germ as well as clean any other to exfoliate the skin.

Another drastic thing that you want to consider is cleansers constructued for use on various parts of the bodies, for instance there are hand cleansers that are marketed and sold separately from facial cleansers as well as other bodily cleansing products.
