Fade Acne Scars!

5 All Natural Tips For Fading Acne Scars

Living with acne is hard enough, but for most people it eventually subsides. Acne scars that are left behind are another story. They are a constant reminder of times past, and acne that is trying to be forgotten. Although most may consider surgery or chemical peels, I urge you to stay away. These procedures are costly, time consuming, and painful and unless you have money to spend (between $1000-$5000), time to waste, and are fine with a week or two of irritating side effects than, I guess surgery or chemical peels are for you. Just the same I think everyone should at least take a look at some of the alternative and all natural options there are. You never know you may find something that works for you or at the very least point you in the right direction.

  1. Take Your Vitamins

Using a vitamin E capsule topically is one of the more direct methods of treating acne scars. One could take it internally; it just may take a little longer to see results. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, as well as aiding the body in the regeneration of new, healthy cells. Vitamin C is another key vitamin in treating acne scars. Vitamin C is another powerful antioxidant that helps to promote collagen production.

  1. Cut Some Aloe

Aloe is one of the most common all natural methods used in treating a plethora of health issues, acne scars being one of them. Aloe Vera sooths skin, therefore calming inflammation, and clearing pores. If you have an Aloe Vera plant, you can take cuttings and use the gel like fluid inside and rub it onto the affected area.

  1. Apply A Scar Cream

Look for acne scar fading creams that contain Collaxyl. Collaxyl is an all natural peptide that effectively bridges the gap between scars, by naturally jumpstarting new cell growth. Resveratrol is another key ingredient in some of the best acne treatments. Derived from grape skin, it kills the same acne causing bacteria just as good as Benzoyl Peroxide (a leading acne treatment ingredient), but without any negative side effects.

  1. Drink More Water

Water is the key to life in every sense of the term. A proper intake of the daily recommended amount of water, between eight to ten glasses a day, not only keeps the body healthy, but it flushes out unwanted toxins, oils, and dead skin that can cause acne.

  1. Try Not To Pick

I know having a whitehead or blackhead that is clearly visible can be a little embarrassing, but for the sake of your skin don't pop or touch your acne. Your hands, no matter how clean you think they are, still touch all kinds of funk every day, and all of that dirt and such, adds to further acne. Popping a pimple may seem relieving, but popping pimple is what gives you acne scars. So avoid acne scars all together and just don't touch no matter how temping or unsightly they may be.

So, before even considering surgery or a chemical peel, look at these alternatives. They are safe, all natural, and they work. You can do one or all (obviously take your vitamins and drink water). The point is that you don't have to subject yourself to people poking and prodding at your already irritated skin. Just take a step back and ask Mother Nature what works best.
