Fruit Papaya which fruit apart from papaya are good to give to kids who have cold or cough?
Personally I actually take grapes. Especially the balck or purple ones.
They have antioxidants with which my conjestion clears up. Infact in medicines such as triaminic, they incorporate grape flavor, not only so that people can swallow the medicine but because grape juice can help in decongestion.
But yes, only give the kids grapes in hotter season (which is when they are available) because in winter season grape can be bad. But in summer it should be just fine.
Citrus fruits are good but not as effective.

"Pawpaw" can refer to at least two different plants, depending on where you are. For most of the world, "pawpaw" and "papaya" are synonymous: they mean the tree-like plant Carica papaya and its fruit.
In the United States east of the Mississippi, however, Carica papaya is just "papaya": "pawpaw" is reserved for Asimina triloba, a small tree completely unrelated to the papaya. A. triloba is a small understory tree with large obovate leaves, producing 2-centimeter brown flowers in the spring and 10-cm, elongated, rounded, yellow-brown berries in the fall. The fruit taste rather like peach-and-banana custard. (I think they're delicious, but there's some debate over that.) Unlike the papaya, the American pawpaw isn't cultivated commercially.
