baby wipes as face cleanser?


Is this advisable? I have sensitive skin, and harsh products really strip my skin and leave it looking a mess. I try to avoid using warm water during the winter, as in connection with central heating and the cold winter winds, I find this also dries out my skin, and sometimes makes it crack!

I like to use face wipes to cleanse my skin at morning and night most nights, (I exfoliate around 3 times a week, gently with round bead exfoliators)

Would baby wipes be sensitive enough to use on the face? More effective than general face wipes?

I have baby wipes from simple, they claim this on the packet:

-For the most delicate and sensitive skin
-Paediatrician approved, Dermatologically approved and hypoallergenic
-Gently and effectively cleanses
-Added moisturisers nourish and protect

Would these be gentle enough to use on my face?

Yes, I use them and I find them gentle enough to use on my face (my skin sounds exactly the same as yours!)

I've tried both Johnsons and Simple, and find simple to be the best.

I like using facewipes too, and have tried many specifically designed for removing make-up and I just find them far too abrasive on my skin, it makes it sting (which is never a good sign) but with baby wipes, as they are so gentle, I find it never happens :)

I say, try it and see how your own skin reacts with it, as everyone is different :)
