why has halloween become an adult hoilday?

im 13 and a girl just aka.! it seems like when i was little halloween was cute and fun. u no smiley pumkins and candy corn. and little kids would be princeness and animals. now its all about the adults! i went to a halloween store and all i saw was adult stuff. playboy bunny? walking penis outfit? free pony ride teeshirts? that so gross. i use to love goin into halloween stores with my dad now im soo gross out and inbaroused i dont even want to drive next to one! last year on halloween some stupid guy was dressed up as a pad (women pad) and i had to explan to my 5 year old cousin why he was dressed up as soap (as he had called it) another time i recall was at the gas station coming home from a halloween party and 3 women dressed up in tight costumes witch exposed toooo much kept following around my 12 year old brother askin how his halloween was! im just so upset about how much things have changed! y is everything about sex?!?!?! has anyone else noticed this?

Genius marketing. "Not only for kids anymore!" they say, as, quite early on, with the costumes and candy, it was so weird it must be tested on by the youth who were believed to be more adept to societal change.
Also, a lot of true horror movies were pretty much made for adults to watch, so there must have been some envy before supply met demand anyway...
Oh, and Halloween was part of the giant sponge called "everything" that sex soaked into with the passing years.
