EMERGENCY!!! I have eczema and I need medial advice so I'm here cuz I have no $ (please help!)?
Hi guys, yes, I have done the initial internet research so don't go telling me ISH unless I don't know it already. No, I'm sorry, thats only a half joke...My problem: My ears are tearing underneath where they're supposed to connect to my head at the bottom and it is because I have eczema. I've done enough research to figure out what I think the doctor can perscribe me without seeing a derm (which I can't so don't say "see a derm", are you fronting me the $?) but I need to know any other medications you guys reccomend AND if my ears will begin to heal underneath with the medication (and re-connect back to my head) or will I have to use some type of cell regenerating moisturizer or something along those lines (whatever that means!?)?

**** and I just found out both Elidel and Protopic are issued by the FDA to have a "black label" warning. It causes skin cancer, ****!

I have bad exzema too and it just started flaring again within the past 2 years. I know you said you cant go to the derm, but do you have a family doctor that can prescribe you the medication. You really are going to have to have a perscription. My Derm gave me Triamclone (something like that) for the body and another ointment type stuff for the face. Nothing over the counter is going to help you. The longer you wait the more you will scar. See if your family doc can help you.
I tried Aveeno, Eurcerin Calming creme, cortisone, bottom line is nothing is stong enough to help it heal. You need a steriod cream. I wish there was something I could do for you.l

Well, you spent just a little too much time telling us all what NOT to answer. If your ears are in that bad of a condition, you will need more than just cream. You are going to have other conditions as a result. When I was young, I had some problems that required me to go to a dermatologist. I couldn't afford the visits, so the dermatologist worked out a payment plan for me. Part of my treatment required blood testing that I also could not afford, so he arranged for them to send the bill to him. He was an amazing doctor who actually cared. My next suggestion is to talk to a teaching hospital. Often you can get care for less or nothing. Good luck.
