Healing Red Acne Marks

An effective way of healing acne scars?


I have mild acne scars. Red coloured like marks on the skin.

I try bio oil and cocoa butter but doesn't seem to work.

I haven't had acne in years, my skin cleared up with the pill cos I have polysistic ovaries.

Minocycline for mild acne and red marks from previous moderate acne?


I used to have moderate acne I guess, but now its more of a problem of many red marks on my face that remain from it. Is minocycline effective in healing the red marks? My derm says most of them aren't scars, however antibiotics (twice daily 100mg) seems to be a strong prescription for mild/moderate acne. The Canadian healthcare system looooves prescribing antibiotics straight away for anything, so I was wondering if this is a little unnecessary? He also prescribed Tazorac in combination with the pills. Should I get a second derm's opinion?

I'm probably just paranoid because I never take pills for anything really.

Different lasers are used for different skin types and problems. Find a clinic that has many different lasers. Some docs will have only 1 and try to make it work for all (thus blistering very white folks like myself). Google laser clinic in your city.
