Hydroxy Astringent
Hydroxy Astringent

Curing my oily acne prone skin(HELP)?
Im 17 years old, and I have really oily skin,
i tend to breakout in my Tzone and on my cheeks
I've been using-
neutrogena transparent bar
Equate astringent
and a hydroxy masque
i've been cleaning my face every morning night and doing the masque after the astringent at night
but there really hasnt been any results
i've been drinking more water, excercising and i've been trying to eat better
i just want clearer skin any advice
Yep, I had the same problem my friend. I'll give you some pointers.
Soap has lye in it. It is one of the few substances that can break up oil. Next to gasoline and alcohol. Use soap, skip out on those other ointments if they arent helping.
Next ... make sure you have a clean pillow. This is a major cause of break outs cause your face is on a dirty surface all night. Make sure to wash your hair every night as hair contains oil and chemicals that will rub off on the pillow.
Wash your face and hair with soap (omit hair conditioners) + clean your pillow and it should stop that madness going on
Additionally ... ProActiv you should look into. Its a better formulated acne removal system in my opinion. You can also look into "Murad".
And what cured me of acne completely is "Accutane". This was doctor prescribed.
But yeah you would think you're doing something right by using all those acne products and washing your face regularly. But a few problems you may have missed and I bet it will get the job done ... is not putting chemicals in your hair + washing your hair with soap (to break up the oil) + washing your pillow cover.
So in step by step this is what Ertai2 recommends ...
Try the el naturale product first. 1) no hair conditioners ... 2) wash face AND hair with soap ... 3) clean and change your pillow case
If that product doesnt work try ProActiv. It is the number 1 selling acne system in America. I havent used it myself but I actually spoke to Jessica Simpson once I kid you not, asked her about it and she agreed lol.
If that doesnt work, Doctor Ertai2 doesnt suggest using Murad as I dont want you to spend more time and money on acne products ... you can if you wish. But I would have to send you to a dermatologist if you have health insurance.
I hope I helped you some, good luck ===

Skin Care Products Review
Top Anti Aging Skin Care - Know The Best Routine
No one wants to see their skin begin to age. We want to see and think of ourselves as youthful and vibrant. Mother Nature on the other hand, often has different plans for us.
As we begin to get older, we lose the glow and elasticity that our skin once had. There are ways to help keep our skin looking good though. A good skin care routine will do wonders for your look and complexion.
Aurora Lillo Editor of the "Best Anti Aging Products" website -- http://www.BestAntiAgingProducts.tv -- pointed out;
"…Before you begin your skin care regime, you should know your skin type. This can be anything from oily to dry or a combination of both. Knowing your skin type will help you to know the type of products that are going to work best on your skin…"
You will always need a cleaner or astringent to remove dirt and excess oils from your skin. Be careful if you have overly oily skin, avoid cleansers that are oily, they will tend to leave an oily residue on your skin. The same goes if you have dry skin, do not get an astringent that contains alcohol, it can dry your skin out even more.
Chemical peels and alpha hydroxy acids help keep your skin fresh and rejuvenated as well. This is done by sloughing off a top layer of skin. Chemical peels and alpha hydroxy acid treatments should be done by a professional esthetician or in your dermatologist's office.
"…Soy beans are a powerful anti-oxidant. Skin care products that contain soy have been proven to reverse some of the effects of sun damage. While we all love a nice tan, the sun is one of the skins most harmful enemies. Sun damage can age your skin with even just a little exposure…" added A. Lillo.
So you should begin your anti-aging skin care routine with a cleanser, follow it up with a light moisturizer at night and finish with a sunscreen of at least SPF 15. To help combat the harmful UV rays that the sun produces.
