Acne Hyperpigmentation? Please help :( ?

I got a really bad acne break out at the end of January, and while most of the acne is gone now, I think I have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Most of the spots on my face have been reduced to light-brownish gray, but they are still obviously differernt from my skin tone (olive) and make my skin look uneven. They seem to be gradually fading but I can't tell if they've stopped fading or not.

Will these spots ever go away? I'm using Paula's Choice Alpha Hydroxy Acid to exfoliate it, but is it going to linger? How long do these spots take to fade completely, if they ever do? Should I look into laser treatment or chemical peels? (last resort-- I'd like to use over the counter products as long as possible. Any reccomendations?

Oh that is not good :( I hate having acne on my face and back because for sure, they will leave nasty scars on my skin. I use to have so many pimple marks on my face but using over the counter products did not work well in solving this issue. Well for me it was not effective so I resorted to chemical skin peels which is advised by my cosmetic doctor since the procedure does not only remove unsightly acne scars but it also stops the re-occurrence of pimples and makes the texture of my skin much smoother.

Some people are misinformed about chemical skin peels. They thought it’s only one type of procedure but the truth is, there are several kinds of skin peels that work according to the severity of the skin problems so great results will be achieved. Here’s a link that will further explain the types of chemical peels and how they work: http://aurora-skin-clinics.co.uk/chemical-skin-peels/ . You must be informed regarding this so you will know what type of chemical skin peels procedure will work best in helping you get rid of those acne scars.

Just make sure you drink lots of water, eat healthy and get enough rest so you won’t get bothered by pimples that can leave nasty marks on your skin, ruining your self confidence.
